【导学】此句为电话用语。外国人在听到电话铃响时，习惯拿起话筒先向对方说Hi!或Hello!并且在打电话时，一般用this表示“我”，that表示“你”，而不用I和you来表示。该句的完整表达为：This is Jim speaking．同义表达为：①Jim speaking.②It's Jim (speaking).
【拓展】常见的电话用语还有：
Is that.…(speaking)?（你）是……吗？
May I speak to.…，please？我找……。
2．Sounds like you’re having a good time.听起来你玩得好开心。
【导学】sound like表示“听起来……”，后面接名词或者句子。如：
You sound like my mom．你说话挺像我妈妈。
It sounds like you have got A in the final exam，听起来你在期末考试中得了A。
【拓展】(1) sound作名词，意为“声音”，既可当可数名词也可当不可数名词。如：
Don't make a sound．不要吵。
