【语法提要】
1.look forward to 意为“盼望;期待”,后接名词或动名词,即look forward to (doing) sth.意为“盼望(做)某事;期待(做)某事”。
例句:We are all looking forward to our holiday.我们都盼望着假期。
I'm looking forward to seeing you this summer vacation.我盼望今年暑假见到你。
2.hear from sb.意为“收到某人的来信”,相当于receive a letter from sb.。其反义短语为write (a letter) to sb.意为“给某人写信”。
例句:I heard from my mother last week. = I received a letter from my mother last week.上周我收到了我母亲的来信。
