| - Greet the students and revise.
- Let Ss look at the pics and the numbers below the pics and use some simple sentences to describe the pandas and elephants.
e.g. This elephant is 350 cm tall.
It weighs 5,000 kilos.
It eats 150 kilos of food a day.
This panda is 150 cm tall when it is standing on two legs.
3.Help Ss to imitate the sentences in the chart to compare between the pandas and elephants.
- The teacher present the numbers on the Bb. 0.1 0.2 16 20 50 100 120 150
on the Bb, help Ss to read these numbers correctly.
- Let Ss imagine how these numbers come and guess what are the numbers related to.
- Listen to the tape for the first time and ask Ss to finish 1b. And then check it.
- Get Ss to listen to the tape again and finish 1c.
- Get Ss to say a sentence about the adult panda and baby panda like the example.
- Ask Ss complete the chart using the comparatives and superlatives.
- Get Ss to match verbs and objects. Then add one more object to each list.
- Ask Ss to circle the correct word and/or fill in the blank with the correct form of the word in brackets for each sentence.
- Listen to the tape again and try to imitate.
