| Greet the Ss and warm up.
Show a pic of the story and ask:
- Do you know the title of the story? What is it?
- Who is the main character in the story?
Present: emperor, underwear, silk, gold, cheat, stupid.
Listen to the tape for the first time and ask Ss to finish 1b.
Ask Ss to read through the 1c and play the tape for the second time and finish 1c.
Ask Ss listen again and try to imitate.
Get Ss to use pics in 1c to tell the story.
- Ask Ss to use their own ideas to complete the sentences. And then check the answers.
