【语法提要】
1.named
named 在这里是过去分词,named Scrooge作后置定语,named 还可以换成called,with the name of。如:
The boy called Li Lei is here.
叫李雷的那个男孩在这儿。
I lent him the book named/with the name of Red Star Over China.
我把《西行漫记》那本书借给他了。
2.remind
remind sb. of sth./sb. 为固定词组,意为使某人回忆起某事/某人。如:
The pair of shoes reminds me of the hard days.
这双鞋子使我想起了那段艰难的日子。
3.wake up
wake up 有醒来和叫醒、吵醒的意思,注意作叫醒、吵醒意思时,代词作宾语要放中间,即 wake sb.up。如:
Mom wakes me up early every morning.妈妈每天很早叫醒我。
