新课展示	6.完成教材2d的任务。用方框中的词或短语的正确形式填充句子，教师纠正答案。 7.让学生阅读2b短文，把自己喜欢的句子画出来，首先理解句子的汉语意思，然后告诉同伴为什么喜欢，这样就可以让学生自己突破文章的重难点。 【语法提要】 1.thankful thankful通常在句中作表语，常用于以下结构： （1）be thankful to sb. 表示“对某人心存感激”。 例句：You should be thankful to him for it.为此你应该感激他。 （2）be thankful for sth. 表示“对某事表示感谢”。 例句：I was so thankful for his support.我对他的支持非常感谢。 （3）be thankful +that从句，表示“因……而感激/欣慰”。 例句：I was thankful that my son had won the scholarship at the first year of the university.令我感到欣慰的是我儿子在大学第一年就获得了奖学金。 2.ahead of ahead of意为“在……前面”，其用法如下： 表示时间或空间，意为“在……之前”。 示例句：He left one day ahead of me.他比我早走一天。 (2)表示能力、水平、地位或先进性等方面，意为“比……强/高”，主要用作表语。 例句：He's ahead of us in English.他的英语比我们强。 【问题探究】 1.He will be thankful to (感激) you. 2.There will be difficulties ahead of (在……前面) you.
