教学设计理念
|
本节课根据《课标》（2017年版2020年修订）和2020新人教版高中英语必修一教师用书为指导思想：
- 理解性技能：在听、读、看的过程中有选择地记录所需信息；借助话语中的语气和语调理解说话者的意图；根据话语中的重复、解释、停顿等现象理解话语的意义；
- 表达性技能：根据交际需要发起谈话并维持交谈；清楚地描述事件的过程；使用非文字手段描述个人经历和事物特征；在口头表达中借助连接性词语、指示代词、词汇衔接等语言手段建立逻辑关系；
- 本单元强调指向学科核心素养发展的英语学习活动观理念，坚持以学生为中心，强调交际和对话，重点在交谈（听和说）。这些对话提供了比较真实的交际语境，学生进行角色扮演并自编对话，用真情实感自如地介绍自己、认识他人、表达需求。

文本解读
|
本课的主题语境属于：人与自我------学校生活。语篇类型为开学第一天的校园对话。
【What】本听力精听部分语篇以外国高中生Amy 到中国学习第一天报到的情况展开。第一段材料描述了Amy 办理入学报到手续。第二段对话关于同学Amy 和Max在餐厅相遇并讨论自己喜欢的科目，语气较为随意。第三段对话是关于Amy 向老师咨询课程选择，语言较为正式。
泛听部分语篇是通过Amy 和Li Ming的一段对话， 来了解对方各自喜欢的学习方式和方法。
【How】本节课听力内容主要为对话，情景内容旨在帮助学生复习初中所学的打招呼、自我介绍、了解学习风格等内容，语言比较口语化，但根据对话发生的场景不同，分正式和非正式：师生之间的对话，语言较为正式，而同学之间的对话，用语较为随意，充满大量的重复、停顿和日常寒暄。
【Why】文本信息容易，与初中内容衔接紧密，旨在让学生通过英语从不同侧面表达自我，尽快让同学们开学之初了解自己，认识他人，为高中学习奠定良好的人际关系和正确的学习方法。

学情分析
|
高一新生基本具备一定的听说能力，对常规的介绍类话题没有太多的难度，但是大部分学生听的程度明显好于说的输出，羞于表达自己或认为这样的对话太过“小儿科”，不愿意积极参与、展示，还需要教师不断进行“心理建设”，搭建脚手架，让学生积极地参与“说”的活动。

| Step 1 Lead–in
- Teacher writes the following sentence on the blackboard to lead the topic:
A thousand-mile journey begins with the first step.

And then ask the following questions:
Do you understand its meaning? Do you agree with it? Why or why not?
Can you think of more sentences like this one in Chinese or English?
Well begun is half done.
We know the first step is very important in almost everything.Since this is our first day, everyone wants to give others a very good first impression, right?
- Look at the title of this unit and the whole picture, and answer how the students feel in the picture? Why?
- How do you feel on the first day of school?

| Step 3 While-listening（精听）
- Offer the word list from PPT and check the preview and ask the Chinese meaning:
- 1).The teacher goes through the questions with students and get them to know what they are going to focus. Then the teacher plays the listening material and asks them to fill in the blanks or choose the right answer. The teacher should repeat the three activities one by one and let everyone know what they are going to cover.
- 2).Meanwhile, Check each question with students and in order to save time, the answers can be shown on the screen. Of course, the teacher should give a lot of praises to the newcomers and maintain their interest and confidence.
- 3).For some difficult sentences, the teacher should play it several times and help students get the general meaning. Tell the students to focus the whole meaning ,not the words.

检测可以明白学生听力的困惑，表扬可以增强学生的自信，更易于英语学习的坚持。
重复听，相当于精听，让学生对重要的内容、没听懂的内容丰富地听。同时，教师的听力策略帮助学生提升听力。

教学反思与评价
| 本节课的课堂容量总体还是比较大的，尤其对于刚开始学习的高一新生，很长时间不听英语，学习能力有所下降，听力理解水平达不到高一的要求，需要授课教师先放低要求，能够完成书上的基本内容即可，不必计较太多的细节。
对于高中生说的，很多学生不喜表现自己，所以英语课的口语展示一般比较尴尬，无人或总是那几个人在表现自己，教师需在教学的初始阶段创设轻松的课堂氛围。
