Ⅵ.Teaching procedures
- Sing a song: How are you?
Ss use “This isintroduce the characters in our book which are present on the screen.
Act as Zoom, use “This is …” to lead in the new words.
Let’s learn
- Teach ss to read the words.
- Play a game: Bomb (Draw Zoom’s head to mark.)
- Ss read the words together.
- Present PPT (Consolidate the words. Read them again.)
Let’s do
- Ss pick word cards and read, teacher lead in the directions.
- Look at the cartoon of this part.
- Teachers do.(Make a competition, all ss stand up and do, but if wrong just sit down, the last student who is standing is the winner. Teacher can give him/her a gift bear.)
- Group work: Draw yourself.
(If time permitted, ss can show their pictures and introduce them.)
- Complete your pictures, make a report next time.
