Step 1情景导入（2分钟）
教师通过师生自由交流，导入本节课的话题。

1.教师通过读音规则和构词法，引导学生记忆词汇的音、形、意。（学生领读）（3分钟）
如：prepare for=get ready for, exam=examination ,flu=cold ,available=free
2.学生听1b的录音，完成1b任务。（3分钟）
3.核对答案。（单独提问与集体回答相结合）（2分钟）
4.教师让学生根据1c提供的信息编写对话，练习新的目标句型“Can you come to my party?”及肯定回答和否定回答。（利用1a的短语）（5分钟）
5.小结训练。（3分钟）

Step 1重难点解析
1.have to不得不
have to 强调客观上的原因，有人称和数的变化；must强调主观上的义务和必要。如：
It rained yesterday .I had to stay at home.
昨天下雨，我不得不待在家里。
We must work hard at school.
我们必须在校努力学习。
2.prepare v.使做好准备；把……准备好
prepare后面接准备的对象，谓语动作直接体现在宾语上；prepare for意为“为……做准备”，后面接名词作宾语，若接动词，用v.-ing形式，for后的宾语为准备的目的。如：
My mother is preparing dinner.
我妈妈正在准备晚餐。
The students are preparing for the exam.
学生们正在准备考试。
3.another adj.又一的；再一的
［辨析］another与the other
another指三者或更多事物中的另一个；the other指两者中的另一个。如：
I am very busy today. Please come another time.
我今天很忙，请另找时间来吧。
The coin isn’t in this hand. It’s in the other hand.
这枚硬币不在这只手里，在另一只手里。
4.—Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon？星期六下午你能来参加我的聚会吗？
—Sure. I’d love to./Sorry, I can’t. I have to prepare for an exam.
当然可以，我很愿意。/对不起，我不能。我得备考。
（1）Can you do…？意为“你能做……吗？”情态动词can在此句中表示请求或邀请。
（2）“Can you do…”表示邀请时的肯定回答一般是“Sure，I’d love to.”，否定回答为“I’m sorry, I can’t.”，并列举原因。
［拓展］表示邀请的句子还有：
Would you like to…？
Will you come to…？
Do you want to…？
How about…？
5.Thanks for asking.谢谢邀请。
Thanks for doing sth.意为“感谢做了某事”。for是介词，后跟名词、代词或v.-ing形式。
