I.温习旧知	Have a dictation. interesting，faing, inexpensive, quiet, uncrowded, big, beautiful, convenient, safe, clean, restroom, museum, restaurant, park, subway, mall, the corner of, a good place to eat Practice the conversation in 1e.
II.兴趣导入	Show two picture is polite, the other is not. Talk about them in pairs. Where’s the post office? Pardon me, could you please tell me where to park my car? Presentation: direct questions, polite requests
III.感受新知	2a Where do you need to make polite requests? Think of some possible situations. Discuss them with your partner. In a foreign country. In public plike a bank, a post office, a library, a shopping mall, etc. At school. At home, especially when speaking to your elders.
IV.梳理巩固	1) Read the article and match paragraph with its main idea. 2d Read the article and underline the topic sentence for each paragraph. Ask four studrite down the four sentences on the Bb. Check the answers. 2) Read the article again and answer the questions. 2c Find all thct questions and polite requests from the passage. Ask some st write down the sentences on the Bb. Check the answers. 2d Read the ts below. In the second column, write A if you would say it to someone you know and B if you would say it to a stranger. In the last column, write where you think these people are. Ask some students write down the sentences on the Bb. Check the answers.
