教学要求
1.Learn the new word: sink.
2. Express preferences.3.Learn to use the relative clauses
教学重难点
1.Help the students express preferences on different
things in daily life,using the target language.
2.Talk about why they like the band, the book
and the movie, using the sentences with relative clauses.

Step1 Warm-up
1.Ask some qus on CDs, groups, singers and musicians. Help the students to answer with the target language.
2.Ask the studo make a survey of the students around them and do some notes. 3.Ask several students to report their results of the survey .
Step2 Presentation
.part1 Fill in the chart.
Ask some questiout band/ book/ movie. Let some of the students to answer it.
Ask the studo complete the chart on their own and share the favorite book with the classmates after class.
.2a listening
1. Tell the ss to have a look at the picture and let them guess what they are talking about.
2.Listen to th carefully , there are two boys, Michael and Ali, they are talking about some of the things they see in the room. The task of us is to write out the three things that they are talking about.
3. Check the answers.
. 2b listening
This activies students listening and writing practice in the target language.
Read the insons. Then point to the two columns in the chart. Say, In the first column you will write what Michael likes. In the second column you will write why he likes it.
Point out thee answers. Ask a student to read these answers to the class.
Answer any questions students may have.
Say: Listen to the recording again. Now fill in the answers.
Correct the answers.
Ask the ts to have a look at the chart in Activity 2b. Tell them to note the sample answers.

Step3 Consolidation and extension
.2c Group work
This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language
Read thructions.  Point to activity 1 and say, Look at activity 1 as you give your answers.
Point to the exin the box. Ask two students to read the questions and
answers to the class.
Have students wopairs. Move around the room checking the progress of
the pairs and offering help as needed.
Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class.
Ask the studentsscuss their favorite bands, books and movies in groups of four. Try to use the sentences with the relative clause we have met in this unit to help to make conversations. 3.Ask one or two groups to say their conversations to the class.
Step4 Summary
The students answer the questions with
the targguage. Then  make a survey of the students around them .
Fill in tht. Write the names of the students favorite band, book and movie
Listen and writ the three things in the picture that Michael and Ali talk about.
Listen again . Write what Michael likes and why he likes each thing.
Discuss theirite things from activity 1.Say why they like each thing.
通过复习本单元的语言目标,在轻松愉快的气氛中为本课的学习掀开了序幕。
为听力做铺垫

通过问题让学生分析信息,听选相关信息。
本环节通过group work这个活动,拓展了活动1的内容,使语言知识运用到实际交流中。
