1a. To give Ss practice in writing about their future plans.
What do you like? What are you good at?
Ask Ss if they have thought about what they would like to do in the future. Some may not have, thinking that they still have time. Others might already know what they want and have taken steps to work towards that goal.
1b. To give Ss practice in speaking about their future plans.
Sharing hopes
Divide the class into groups of fur but make sure that Ss are with a different set of groups mates than the ones they had in the previous activity.
1c. To Ss listening practice.
There are five pictures, each depicting a different scene:
a doctor, a musician, a teacher, an astronaut, a boy who received his test results.
