【语法提要】
1.suggest
suggest用作动词，意为“提议；建议”，后面可接名词、代词或动词的ing形式作宾语。如：
I suggest putting off the sports meeting.我建议推迟运动会。
注意：表示“建议某人做某事”时，可用suggest sb. doing sth.结构，而不能用suggest sb. to do sth.结构。
2.pass by
pass by意为“路过；经过”，可单独使用，也可后面跟名词。pass by还可用于比喻意义，表示时间“消逝”。如：
He passed by my home without a stop.他经过我家而没有停留。
3.a little
能够修饰形容词或副词比较级的有a little,much,even等。如：
He is much more handsome than before.他比以前帅得多。
能够修饰形容词或副词原级的有a little，very,quite等。
【问题探究】
