【语法提要】
1.between…and…
between…and…意为“在……和……之间”，常用于两者之间，不仅可以用于表示在两段时间之间，还可用于表示在两个人、两个地点之间，连接名词或代词。如：
We usually have a meeting between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.我们通常在上午10点到11点之间开会。
辨析：between与among
between一般指“两者之间”，而among一般指“三者或三者以上之间”。如：
TF boys are very popular among young people.TF boys组合在年轻人中非常受欢迎。
The friendship between them is deep.他们之间的友谊很深厚。
2.not only…but（also）…
not only…but（also）…意为“不但……而且”。
（1）not only 在句首引导并列谓语时用倒装句语序。如：
Not only does he plays basketball well,but he （also） plays soccer ball well.他不但篮球打得好，足球也踢得好。
（2）引导并列主语时,谓语动词的单复数根据靠近谓语的主语来决定。如：
Not only the pens but also the pencil is missing.= Not only the pencil but also the pens are missing.不但那支铅笔，而且那些钢笔都不见了。
